We create elearning course modules that are very responsive as well. This means developing elearning content that looks great across digital platforms where the learner can access online content on his/her preferred device. This also gives us the creative freedom to develop our online training materials in a more interactive manner just like how modern websites are as opposed to traditional slide-based elearning of the past.

But that doesn’t mean DLD shies away from the most basic types of elearning materials like PowerPoint presentations, PDFs, audiovisual presentations, and the like. We make them our references to create learning programs that are more effective, engaging, and highly interactive for the learners. Guided by the principles of Discovery Learning, we create elearning course modules that encourage learning by doing through interactive components within the material. These interactive components may include but are not limited to accordions, flashcards, sorting activities, and the like.

Integrated Learning Evaluation Tools

The elearning courses that we develop are integrated with learning evaluation tools that check and assess the knowledge level of the learners before and after the training. As such, these knowledge checks and assessments provide awareness for the learners about how much they have learned from the materials as well as what knowledge gaps they have to fill in.

Regardless of the regularity of using these evaluation tools, the aim is to gauge the effectiveness of the elearning materials themselves and help the learners in fully understanding them. These tools also provide insights for us to see which parts of the elearning course need to be calibrated to further help learners in new knowledge retention.

Some of the knowledge check and assessment tools that we use in creating elearning courses include but are not limited to multiple choice, scenarios, fill in the blanks, and matching type. You can specify what parameters you want to use for these such as passing score, require passing score to continue, quiz retries, randomised questions, shuffled answer choices, feedback on correct and incorrect answers, and many more. Results of the assessments are recorded in your organisation’s learning management system, if enabled.
